Who Are We?

At our full-time facility, we have top-quality classes to suit everyone. We offer pre-school    and recreational    classes, as well as competitive squad gymnastics in Women's Artistic (4 Piece and 2 Piece)    and tumbling    .

Our team of dedicated coaches take pride in helping each and every gymnast to achieve their goals, whether that's measured in good health, competition success, mobility, coordination or most importantly enjoyment.

Our club and coaches are all registered with British Gymnastics (the UK's governing body for gymnastics).

WGC Drill Overview

Our well-equipped gym includes a sprung floor, a full length carbon fibre tumble track, a full length fast track, a double-mini trampoline, high and low beams, assymetric bars and various vaults including a vaulting table.

Founded in 2001, our club was originally based on Church Street and could boast only 4 coaches and a dozen gymnasts. However, months of hard work by the owners, coaches and parents alike transformed the building (previously a bakery) into a top-class, dedicated gymnastics facility. The club rapidly developed, soon producing both County and National champions, which contributed to us being awarded the Wirral Sports Forum 'Sports Club of the Year' in 2004.

In 2013, the club's founding Head Coaches stepped down, handing over to current Head Coach, Michelle Stalker, who had been involved as both a parent and a coach since just after its opening. The club has grown beyond all expectations, and in 2017, we were fortunate enough to win the Wirral Sports Forum 'Sports Club of the Year' award for a second time.

In 2022, the club moved into a new facility at Drill, Grange Road West, where we now work alongside Birkenhead Trampoline Club. Our classes run 6 days a week with over 400 gymnasts of all ages and abilities!

Over the years, we are very proud to have produced champions at World, European, Regional and County levels, as well as having tremendous success at competitions against local clubs and enabling hundreds of gymnasts to take part in a sport they love.
